Glock G21SF 45 Auto (ACP) 4.61” Black Nitride Pistol - 10+1 Pistol - The Glock G21SF pistol is relied upon by numerous law enforcement units, which is why this powerful, lightweight, all-weather workhorse has become standard issue. The SF model reduces the girth of the receiver at the rear, or "backstrap," to provide more comfort and control, especially for shooters with smaller hands. So, without much fanboy enthusiasm, I began exploring my first firearm with a Springfield XD. service model. But when I got introduced to Gunstore, I realized there were a lot of options. I got my hands on the OD Gen 3 G21 and fell in love but haven't bought it yet. Although my first gun (the first signature of only three, the other two being a G17 and a G22 Gen 3) came home in an old non sf gen3 black. Dry shooting quickly confirmed that the tungsten guide rod made it to my liking, and at the time Sig didn't offer enough or cheap enough. After 2.5k seconds it remains my favorite gun, probably my favorite firearm. For me, it's the simple function that's built right, not the high-end or scaled-down model that I choose and the reason I continue to prefer Glock. The tungsten rod balances the lighter magazine load and makes my drill consistent.

This is not going well for me. In my opinion the Glock 21 is the ultimate .45. While it's a bit overbuilt (same scope as the Glock 20 in 10mm), that's not a bad thing. Extra beef means you can fill it with ammo all day. Length doesn't have to be an issue for concealed carry, and with the right holster system you can carry it all day without worrying too much. trust me I have and it's not that big of a deal. The smaller you go in .45, the more jump the gun will have and the less accuracy and stability you will have. Any bigger and it becomes a concealed carry problem, at least for me. I plan to buy a paycheck next. And 27 years later the .45 is the best bolt action and the Glock is still the best pistol system I can think of. This is a good investment for defensive carry. I hope this helps.

Just bought my second Glock 21. Carrying this gun is much easier than one might expect. It weighs less than a 1911. And holds more ammo. It can be easily hidden with the right case. This is a serious reason to think. The smaller the gun, the more it bounces. This creates a control problem that can be solved with a larger gun that can reduce recoil and aid accuracy. I hope this helps.

After wearing my 21 every day for a few weeks, I realized it wasn't the problem that many people would say. At 28.26 ounces, it's about 11 ounces lighter than a full-size 1911 and about 8 ounces lighter than a Commander. It also carries more ammunition. I bought a belt holster for it and with a good belt I've gotten to the point where I don't feel any tugging or tugging and I don't have to buckle my pants all day. Although it is a large gun, it is very well balanced and the modular grip extension fills my hand well. Also, to reiterate, it's a bit overbuilt (same scope as the 20 in 10mm), but that's when you consider that it can chew and spit out +p ammo without biting.

So. If you consider the 21 to be a concealed carry gun, it's not bad at all. Just get a good holster and belt. I hope this helps.

I have had my Glock 21 for 3 years, 1300 rounds through it with no problems. Got a tungsten guide rod, machined slide stop lever and a clip to slide on my belt in the small of my back. I have a Colt 1911 and while it is a good shooter, the Glock is my favorite. It breaks much easier than the 1911. However, you should be careful about taking it into the room. I once put my finger on the trigger while putting on my belt and if it had been in the chamber I could have blown my ass. I'm learning to figure it out and I'm sure I'll be able to put it up quickly.

Never regret buying it every penny but hey it's a Glock and what else is there to say I love people who spend 400 more and knock a Glock every time a Glock is over a dollar. This 45 is flawless and runs like it. every time

You can hide this simple trick. I hide mine which also has viridian laser and +2 pierce enhancement. Katie Me How and Dara make fine holsters as well as stealth gear. A trouser holster makes an excellent stealth outfit.

I bought my Glock 21sf about a year ago and have put a lot of rounds through it. I love this gun and highly recommend it. This gun does not fail or go off. Currently my daily carry.

Alpha 45 Acp Match Grade Crowned Barrel For G21

A great gun with not much recoil. Everything was bitten in the first sitting. After the safety check on some Gen 4s, during cleaning you have to point down, pull the trigger, pull the side tabs, pull the slide. The firing pin is forward and the slide should be for remounting. Numerous Glock owners with the same problem. Internal security mechanisms must be addressed. I wish it was a manual or someone told me. It's not a big deal. Excellent rifle with accuracy and reliability.

I want to mention what a great gun this is. The slide assembly is a mute point. Some guns require a key, some have a switch, and some have a lever. It has a thicker slide than other models, but is a .45. The weight definitely absorbed the round. Feels heavier than 19. The fish pull was typical for a Glock, but it's smooth with a nice click and reset. It was a lot of fun shooting. Bigger bullets, louder, but easier to stay on target and recapture my aim. Again, great gun. You will not be disappointed.

I carry my G21 Gen 4 daily and have never had a malfunction, always an accurate shooter. If you are on the fence about it, buy it, you won't regret it. I like the fact that it's a 13 +1 and I have an extra magazine, because it's better to have and not have than need and not.
